Maine’s two casinos, Hollywood Casino and Oxford Casino, recorded $14.4 million in revenue for September, up 5.7% from the previous year’s $13.6 million.
The figures, published by the Maine Gambling Control Unit, show that Oxford Casino recorded the highest revenue for the month, increasing from $8.4 million to $8.8 million, up 5.3%. Slots totaled $7.6 million, up 8.4% from $7 million. Table games produced $1.3 million, down 10.2% from $1.4 million.
Hollywood Casino reported the highest year-over-year revenue increase, recording $5.5 million, up 6.2% from $5.2 million. Slots generated $4.6 million, up 8% from $4.1 million. Table games produced $0.9 million, down 2.1%.
Statewide, slots generated $12.2 million, up 8.2% from $11.3 million. Table games revenue totaled $2.1 million, down 7% from $2.3 million.
