The Louisiana Gaming Control Board reported revenue of $174.9 million from the state’s casinos in September, a year-over-year increase of 2.9%.
The Lake Charles district topped all regions in Louisiana with revenue of $63.7 million, a year-over-year decline of 5% from the $67.1 million generated during the same time period the previous year. L’Auberge Du Lac generated $24.2 million compared to $23 million brought in during September 2024, a 5.1% increase. Golden Nugget Lake Charles collected revenue of $22 million, a decrease of 10.7% compared to September 2024’s $24.6 million. Delta Downs posted revenue of $12.5 compared to $12.6 million in the same month in 2024, a decrease of 0.5%.
Shreveport/Bossier City properties reported revenue of $41 million compared to September 2024’s $39.1 million, a 5.1% increase compared to August 2024. Margaritaville Resort Casino posted revenue of $10.1 million, a year-over-year decrease of 28.2% from the $14.1 million generated in September 2024. Horseshoe Shreveport reported revenue of $9.5 million from the previous year’s $8.1 million, down 17.5%. Live! Casino posted $8 million after not being open in 2024.
New Orleans district properties reported revenue of $44.3 million, up from September 2024’s $39.5 million, or 11.9%. Caesars New Orleans brought in $19.5 million, an increase of 20.9% year-over-year, compared to September 2024’s $16.1 million. Treasure Chest generated $12.3 million, an increase of 10% year-over-year compared to September 2024’s $11.2 million, and Boomtown Casino & Hotel reported revenue of $7.1 million, a decrease of 0.7% compared to the $7.2 million generated in September 2024.
The Baton Rouge district’s $20.1 million was an increase of 8.6% compared to September 2024’s $18.6 million. L’Auberge Casino Hotel posted $12.4 million, a year-over-year increase of 5.1% from September 2024’s $11.8 million. The Queen of Baton Rouge generated $7.1 million, an increase of 6% from September 2024’s $6.7 million, and the Belle of Baton Rouge, which moved to a land-based location, reported revenue of $0.7 million, a year-over-year increase 589.6%, from $0.1 million.
Evangeline Downs generated $5.7 million, the same amount during September 2024.
