Iowa’s commercial casinos generated $141.3 million in October, up 6.2% year-over-year from $133.1 million.
The latest report from the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission shows that of the 19 casinos, 12 reported increasing revenues.
Six casinos in the state saw double-digit revenue rises, with the Lakeside Casino seeing revenue rise 49.4% from $3.1 million to $4.6 million. Diamond Jo Worth saw a 20.7% increase, from $8.5 million to $10.3 million. Isle of Capri Bettendorf saw a 17.3% increase from $5.1 million to $5.9 million.
Revenue remained stable for five casinos, including the Horseshoe Casino Council Bluffs, which saw a decline of 0.1% from $13.7 million to $13.68 million. The Ameristar II casino saw similar numbers, with a 0.2% decline from $13.48 million to $13.45 million.
Only two casinos experienced losses year-over-year, with the Grand Falls Casino Resort seeing the most significant decline of 6.4%, dropping from $8 million to $7.4 million.
Statewide revenue for table games rose 5.1% year-over-year from $12.7 million to $13.4 million. Slots revenue increased 6.3% from $120.4 million in 2024 to $127.9 million in 2025.
