Virginia’s three casinos reported $82.1 million in revenue in October, up 44% increase year-over-year compared to the $57 million generated a year ago, when two of them were operating out of temporary facilities.
According to a report published by the Virginia Lottery, Caesars Virginia in Danville, which opened its permanent facility in December, recorded the highest growth in October, generating revenues of $33.6 million, up 84% compared to October 2024. The 1,478 slot machines on the property generated $23.3 million, up 74% from the $13.4 million generated the year prior by 826 slot machines. Caesars’ 100 game tables generated $10.3 million in October, up 114% compared to $4.8 million from 36 tables.
Rivers Casino Portsmouth generated $27.3 million in October, up 7.4% from $25.4 million. The casino’s 1,426 slot machines made $19.5 million, up 10% compared to the $17.7 million generated by 1,419 slot machines in October 2024. Its table game revenue increased 1.3%, with 84 and 85 tables generating $7.8 million and $7.7 million, for October 2025 and 2024, respectively.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol, which opened its permanent facility in November 2024, grossed $21.2 million in October, compared to $13.4 million recorded in the previous year, up nearly a 58% year-over-year growth. Its 1,372 slot machines recorded revenues of $17.7 million, up 59% year-over-year compared to 898 slot machines that generated $11.1 million in October the year prior. Hard Rock’s 29 game tables generated $2.2 million in October 2024, compared to the $3.4 million generated by 73 tables this past October, a 52% increase.
Statewide, slot revenues for October were $60.6 million, up 43% year-over-year compared to $42.2 million last year. Table games generated $21.5 million, up 45% from the $14.7 million earned a year prior.
